About

Welcome! I look forward to getting to know you.
I am a licensed psychologist with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia. In addition to my therapy work here, I provide assessments at B.C. Children’s Hospital in the Outpatient Psychiatry Department and ABLE Developmental Clinic. I am also an adjunct professor with Adler University.

I have over 10 years of experience working in health and community settings providing psychological assessment, treatment, and consultation services for adolescents and adults.

I completed a doctorate in psychology (Psy.D.) at Adler University, researching the experiences of psychologists supporting transgender youth. I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the DBT Centre, where I received training in comprehensive dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I was also the radically open dialectical behavioural therapy (RO DBT) program manager. I am a RO DBT practitioner endorsed by the Radically Open Institute and I have received additional training in trauma therapy (Prolonged Exposure and Cognitive Processing Therapy). I offer personalized treatment plans with specialized RO DBT, DBT-informed, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) services to support clients in individual therapy and skills classes. I also received training in CPT (cognitive processing therapy) and PE (prolonged exposure) for treating posttraumatic stress disorder.

In addition to individual therapy, I have also offered caregiver consultations for supporting the mental health of a loved one. As teaching and mentorship are important to me, I have also offered trainings to psychologists, mental health practitioners, and community agencies on topics related to gender spectrum health and gender affirmative practices.

I welcome you to contact me to learn more about working together to help you reach your goals.
